QUALITY
Recognizing quality as a key factor in creating competitive advantage, Sipag Bisalta has operated according to ISO 9001 standards since the early 1990s and is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Group considers the health and safety of its workers an integral part of business management. For this reason, an internal organization has been established to promote prevention and continuous improvement in safety. Particular effort has been made to create and spread a strong safety culture among employees, raising awareness according to their roles and responsibilities.
To adapt the company’s organization and production procedures to continuously improve health and safety outcomes, Sipag Bisalta has implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that ensures compliance with current regulations. In 2012, the management system at the Sovizzo (VI) plant received validation under the “LavoroSicuro” program following a positive evaluation by the joint INAIL – Confindustria Veneto Siav commission.
Sipag Bisalta is also certified in accordance with ISO 45001:2018.
ENVIRONMENT
Respect and care for the environment have always characterized the development of Sipag Bisalta and Somies. Preventing pollution and reducing environmental impact are core objectives of the Group’s policy. For this reason, production plants are continuously monitored, and investments are made in the search for eco-friendly solutions. Sipag Bisalta is certified in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001.
The company has chosen to purchase 100% of the electricity required for its production facility from renewable sources.
This decision, aligned with the company’s long-standing strategy to reduce CO₂ emissions, is realized through the purchase of electricity generated exclusively from wind, solar, and hydroelectric power plants.
Purchasing energy from renewable sources represents a concrete commitment to environmental protection and the fight against climate change.
Sipag’s commitment to sustainability is also expressed through other initiatives, such as the adoption of low environmental impact technologies, reduction of energy consumption, and the promotion of eco-friendly behavior among employees.
The electricity purchased by Sipag is certified by Guarantees of Origin (GO), issued by the Italian Energy Services Operator (GSE). GOs are documents that certify the origin of energy from renewable sources and allow consumers to monitor their environmental impact.
Sipag’s renewable energy procurement is a clear and positive example of how companies can actively contribute to the transition toward a more sustainable energy model.
