Exhausted slurries, before being disposed of, may require treatment. In particular, when using decanter centrifuges, flocculants must be employed to separate solids and water, also to reduce disposal costs. A full range of flocculants, featuring anionic, cationic, and non ionic products with different molecular weights has been developed thanks to our strong expertise in civil engineering fluid mechanics. All our flocculants have been specially designed for the products employed to make our slurries, but they also work well on any type of slurry. Slurries that may require treatment often have different specs, depending on water and soil type. This is why we carry out accurate lab tests to determine the best flocculant charge and molecular weight for the slurry to be treated. Additional laboratory and on-site tests are also conducted to determine the formulation and obtain quick and effective flocculation.
